Government Relations Committee

The Government Relations Committee monitors legislative matters at all levels of government. Committee members will be asked to delve deeper on certain issues and help the Government Affairs Director with information and research and meet with elected officials in order to explain in-depth our position on an issue. SBAOR often comments on issues at various Boards, Commissions, City Council/Supervisor, and Statewide meetings. Attending and commenting at these meetings is important because as a member of GRC you have an in-depth knowledge of the issue(s) and are able to communicate it to the deciding body. Even if you do not want to comment, your presence is still important because the number of members we have in the audience matters.

Grievance Committee
